STUDIO POLICIES - BOOKING 

A $150.00 NON REFUNDABLE deposit is required to secure a appointment at time of booking, either through online booking or via email transfer. Deposits are credited to the full service cost. Any appointment is not considered booked until a deposit is left. Deposits are NOT REFUNDABLE & NON TRANSFERABLE. 

When booking an appointment at Robin Yu Cosmetic Tattoo, you are agreeing to all Studio Policies.

 

RESCHEDULING / CANCELLATIONS /LATE APPOINTMENTS

Robin only works a select days throughout the week, so it is important that there is a respect for her time. All appointments can be rescheduled as long as there is at least 7 days given, so the spot can be re-filled. If 7 days is not given to reschedule, the deposit is forfeited. Deposits will not be refunded for cancelled appointments, or Government mandated closures due to COVID-19. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, it is at the artists discretion whether or not the appointment can go forward. There may be multiple appointments afterward, and the time is limited. If Robin is unable to proceed with the scheduled appointment, a new deposit is required to rebook. 

NO SHOWS will not be given their deposit back, and will not be permitted to rebook.

PAYMENT / REFUNDS

Cash, E-transfer, and all major credit cards are accepted.

 

Absolutely no refunds will be given as each procedure is taken out at a cost to the studio. Results are not guaranteed as many factors outside of the artist can affect the healing process and final result. 

All prices are subject to change at any time without notice. 

 

During the pandemic deposits still remain NON REFUNDABLE and can not be refunded due to mandated government closures due to COVID-19, or rescheduling due to these closures. Please understand that these closures are financially very stressful for Robin, and out of her control. 

 

During an already very difficult economic time she is not in a position to be offering refunds. All deposits will be used toward a future rescheduled appointment when mandated closures are lifted.

 

If you are uncomfortable with this policy please do not book in, and thank you for your understanding & continued support. 

CLIENT REFUSAL 

Robin reserves the right to refuse any client that is deemed unfit to go through with the procedure. This includes ladies who are pregnant or breast feeding. Unfortunately a doctors note will not be accepted, as Robin is not comfortable performing services on pregnant or breast feeding ladies. 

RESULTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED 

Although extreme care is taken with all procedures there are many outside factors that can affect the healed result of the Cosmetic Tattoo. Every service takes 3-4 Hours and is performed at a cost to the artist. Due to these factors, no refunds will be offered. 

Please be aware that more than one touch up may be needed to achieve desired results, touch ups are not included. 

CORRECTIVE WORK 

It is asked that photographs of previously tattooed brows, eyes, and lips are sent in to be assessed before making an appointment. Unfortunately some work may need to be removed before any additional procedures can take place. Robin does not offer removal services at this time. Results are not guaranteed when tattooing over another artists work, and some individuals will require one or multiple colour corrections before hand. All colour corrections are $100.00 plus applicable taxes.

It is not recommended that clients with the following undergo any Cosmetic Tattooing Procedure:

  • Pregnant or nursing

  • Diabetic

  • Undergoing Chemotherapy

  • Viral infections (diseases)

  • Had Botox within a 4 week period of appointment

  • Had an organ transplant

  • Epilepsy

  • Used Accutane in the last 6 months ​

  • Have a pacemaker 

  • Prone to keloid scarring
